Are they pregnant? Time only tell....
My LaMancha doelings will be 1 year old in March 2012.
On a beginning of December 2011 I brought in a buck!
He is Nigerian dwarf, about 5” shorter from my females.
I did read that LaManchas are seasonal breeders.
They were visibly in heat all fall; jumping on a top of each other.
I didn’t see any obvious signs in December, though.
I didn’t see this buck doing anything as well….
So; there is a possibility, that I will be feeding him another year until something evolve.
The doelings did matured in a front of my eyes in a last month or so;
Their rear legs sort of spreaded wider – they walking like they have something between their legs…haha but they have no udders yet.
Their bellies become not that much wider, but sort of longer towards bottom.
Well….I guess two months should show me, if they “took” it or not.
This one was always fat (big eater) - no not pregnant ha ha

We had a pygmy uck who would stand on the bench seat of a picnic table just to get at the taller doe's. I guess where there's a will there's a way.
You'll have to keep an eye on them nd if their udders develope then your going to have babies.

This is exactly what is left for me now; just to watch them and see....
Their appetite did increased, double, I would say- so I'm hoping...

You could always get a blood test done to know for sure. I don't have much experience with Lamanchas but if they don't come back into heat they are probably bred. Hope they are! Kids are fun!
